ASC Media Awards 2007

In November 2007, the sixth annual ASC Media Awards were held at Doltone House in Sydney. The Awards were once again extremely successful and have now become a firmly established and highly regarded event in the calendar of sports journalists and broadcasters Australia-wide.

There were just over 240 entries received in 2007 with a high number of good quality entries from metropolitan and regional Australian media. Entries were received from mainstream media, general news and current affairs which supplemented the excellent reporting from dedicated sport and sport affairs media and helped build the recognition and stature of the Awards.

Of particular note last year were entries from the Nine Network, Fairfax’s Business Review Weekly Magazine, ABC Television’s Australian Story, The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald and Seven News.
