The special discounted early bird registration rate is available until close of business 4 June.

The OSF 2010 forum will provide in-depth analysis of the business of sport, using successful business models to explore new thinking, risk taking and innovation in the development of sports policy to effect change.

OSF 2010 will feature leading international and national speakers discussing trends and emerging issues in the sporting industry in Australia and around the world.

Bernard Petiot, Vice-president Casting and Performance, Cirque du Soleil (CDS), will deliver a keynote address on ‘Reinventing a traditional product’. In the entertainment industry, the CDS brand is recognised for its great creativity.

CDS reinvented the circus genre, and founder and creative guide Guy Laliberté has taught the organisation to embrace a culture of challenge, risk and boldness, and a never-ending quest to reinvent itself. CDS's strength lies in being open to the unexpected, and valuing human capacity and all forms of talent. CDS recognises that the art of provoking unexpected encounters, evoking, debating and pushing the boundaries of knowledge are all part of the creative challenge.

This presentation is an account of Bernard Petiot's experience at CDS, as someone with a background in high-level sports who is managing a team of creators in a spirit of dialogue and inspiration.

OSF 2010 promises to stimulate new ideas, challenge your thinking and provide invaluable practical information relevant to your organisation. This is one event you can’t afford to miss — register now!
