The Australian snowboard team achieved unprecedented world dominance during his 2011 season. Under the expert direction of Ben, the team soared to the top of the medal tally at the 2011 World Snowboard Championships. Three AIS athletes were crowned world champions, taking home gold medals in the snowboard cross and the half pipe, giving Australia its first-ever world number one ranking at a world championship in winter sports. Dedicated to his athletes and committed to the success of snowboarding, Ben is always striving for improvement. He assists with Ski and Snowboard Australia’s talent identification camps, where his professional opinion and advise is crucial in the selection of Australia’s next generation of talent.
