CICA and National ACE
The Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA) Inc represents national, state and territory career practitioner organisations by promoting and supporting the lifelong and life-wide career development of all Australians through its involvement in policy development and practice implementation.
CICA membership is comprised of 11 practitioner associations and 1 peak support organisation.
The National Athlete Career and Education (ACE) program is an inaugural member of Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA) and, as such, provides input into policies and initiatives at both the state and national levels that relate to the career development of young people.
As a Member Association, National ACE's mission is to support members to:
- Improve and extend the quality of their career education programs for elite athletes
- Promote career development as a lifelong process for elite athletes and;
- Increase the capacity of elite athletes to make informed career choices.
