AIS Study Hall
Study Hall has been established to assist AIS Canberra residential program athletes to achieve their academic potential while pursuing sporting goals.
Study Hall aims to
- provide a quiet, comfortable working environment
- provide the most capable supervision available
- provide suitable materials and equipment that are possible with the resources available
Study Hall is conducted from Monday -Thursday nights during school terms.
All AIS residential athletes who are at school are allocated to a Study Hall group. ACE Advisers and athlete tutors oversee the study programs and general academic progress of athletes.
The Study Hall is located within residences. All rooms are well equipped with computers and internet access, Tutorial rooms 1 & 2 are available for athlete use 24 hours/7days/week.
Athletes who need assistance other than at Study Hall should contact their AIS ACE Adviser as early as possible.
