Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) network
The Athlete Career and Education program has developed a network of Elite Athlete Friendly Universities (EAFU). These universites have responded to the specific needs of elite student athletes by developing new, or promoting existing policies and practices which assist elite student athletes to undertake sporting opportunities whilst pursuing and achieving academic excellence.
Higher Education Contribution Scheme (HECS)
The Australian Institute of Sport does not meet Higher Education Contribution Scheme (HECS) charges for tertiary students. Athletes must pay their own HECS fees, but may discuss all implications of HECS with their AIS ACE Adviser .
