Life balance leads to improved athlete performance.

An integrated approach to training and study or work helps develops confident, independent, well-rounded athletes who are better able to make decisions, adapt, focus and successfully pursue their goals.

The range of ACE services includes educational guidance, help to manage competing sport and study schedules, career planning, employment preparation, personal development/life skills, transitional support, online service support, and referrals if required.

“The support provided by the Athlete Career and Education service is significant and having a supportive team in place that ensures that athletes bubble away with skills and opportunities that will serve them well both in their sport and beyond, is a powerful motivator in living life to the full.”

Chris O'Brien
National Performance Director, Rowing Australia

“The Athlete Career and Education program allows us to develop not just the athlete, but the whole person. The program supports the ‘off field’ areas of life. If the athletes’ general life is in order, with structure, direction and routine, they perform much better as an athlete.”

Julie Hoornweg
Head Coach, VIS Melbourne Vixens
