The AIS Speakers Bureau provides access to AIS athletes for groups and organisations - including schools, sporting clubs, charities and businesses, interested in engaging an athlete for their functions.

Athletes provide a range of services, from guests at award ceremonies through to motivational speaking.

The following rates apply:

Level 1 - Be motivated 

Rate: From $2000
Athlete profile: High profile AIS athlete, Olympian/Paralympian medallist. Experienced speaker.
Event type: Suitable for corporate and high profile events.
Delivery: Up to 40 minute motivational address. Event would include limited in-house photo opportunities.

Level 2 - Be inspired 

Rate: From $1000 - $1500
Athlete profile: High profile AIS athlete, Olympian/Paralympian/Commonwealth Games medallist. Experienced speaker.
Event type: Suitable for corporate events and functions.
Delivery: Up to 30 minute informal presentation. Event would include limited in-house photo opportunities. 

Level 3 - Promote your activity 

Rate: From $500 to $1000
Athlete profile: AIS scholarship holder, World/Commonwealth Games athlete.
Event type: Suitable for sport promotion or award presentation.
Delivery: Up to 60 minutes, including brief outline of athlete's career and ceremony participation. 

Level 4 - Enhance your presentation 

Rate: From $100 to $200
Athlete profile: AIS scholarship holder (for example, team sport member)
Event type: Suitable for award presentation.
Delivery: Up to 60 minutes ceremony participation.

Athletes participating in the Speakers Bureau have undertaken public speaking and professional presentation courses and are suited to the examples provided above.

AIS athletes are based across Australia, with some enrolled with the Speakers Bureau available to travel interstate*.

*Stated fees exclude required travel and accommodation costs and are based on the athlete's profile, experience and current contract arrangement with agents. In some circumstances an alternate fee can be negotiated for registered charities.

How to engage the services of an athlete
