Register your research with the AIS

17 Mar 2009

Register your researchThe Beijing 2008 Olympic Games taught Australia that the world is catching up in the area of sports science research. With an eye on the London 2012 Olympics the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) wants to show that we are still at the pinnacle of world sport.

We need your help

We are calling on all of Australia’s university academics to register their research into high performance sport with the AIS.

Mathematics, computer science, engineering, industrial design as well as all human movement and exercise science departments are encouraged to register.

By registering your research with us, we will be able to:

  • map the current state of play in sports research across the country
  • bring together academics, coaches and athletes with similar research interests
  • provide support and funding for projects of national significance.
