Jarrod Fletcher wins Gold

The Boxing Grand Prix event in the Czech Republic concluded overnight with Australia coming away with four medals.

 Jarrod Fletcher won the Gold Medal in the 75kg weight category after stopping the Czech athlete in the third Round. This has been a great tournament for Jarrod returning from injury and defeating the Cuban who will be going to the Olympic Games.

Todd Kidd was defeated in the 64kg Gold Medal bout to come away with the Silver Medal. Todd was defeated by the Czech athlete on points 3:12. 

Paul Fleming (57kg) and Brad Pitt (91kg) both came away with Bronze Medals.

The team now moves to Halle, Germany to participate in the Chemistry Cup. Following this tournament the team heads back to Australia for a weeks break before heading into final Olympic preparation.
