AIS Hockey - Robert Hammond

Hammond made his Kookaburra debut against New Zealand in 2001 and demonstrated tremendous creative flair from the midfield.  He represented Australia at the Junior World Cup in Hobart in 2001 before making his senior major tournament debut at the Champions Trophy in 2002.  Now having played over 100 international matches, Hammond has successfully made the transition from young up and comer to experienced player.  Hammond was part of the Australian side who won gold at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and bronze at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
