Alan McConnell - AFL

Head Coach Alan McConnell played thirty eight games of football with Footscray in the Victorian Football League. He has had an extensive career in coaching including having coached Fitzroy in the Australian Football League and worked as an assistant coach at Geelong in the AFL for seven years.

Alan is a qualified Physical Education teacher with extensive experience in teaching and coaching of young athletes.

Alan is supported in the program by a high quality list of assistant coaches and conditioning staff and together with the support of the expertise of the AIS is able to deliver a program to prepare an aspiring young athlete for a careeer in AFL football.
