Athletes with a Disability - Alpine Skiing - Scholarships

Scholarship selection

Potential scholarship holders must be a current member of Disabled WinterSport Australia and must meet the International Paralympic Committee eligibility criteria regarding residency and citizenship.

Alpine skiers are selected for the squad in June each year, based on performance achieved throughout the season.

The scholarship period runs from July 1 st to June 30 th - each year.

Scholarship holders are eligible to access elite training facilities and staff through the scheduled dry land training camps as well as athlete career and education assistance.

How to get involved

Disabled WinterSport Australia (DWA) conduct introductory ski camps each year and provide opportunities for recreational skiers to try racing and get involved competitively.
