Basketball Institute basketballer Jason Cadee named in 2010 World Select Team

AIS scholarship holder Jason Cadee has been marked as a star of the future with his selection in the 2010 World Select Team which will take part in the 13th annual Nike Hoop Summit.

The Summit is the premier annual basketball game featuring many of the world's leading players aged 19 years or younger.

The Summit will take place on Saturday 10 April at the Rose Garden, in Portland, Oregon.

The World Select line-up will be led by NBL Championship coach Rob Beveridge.

The Summit event features America's elite, young athletes against a World Select Team comprised of top international players.

The World Select Team roster, which features 10 players from nine countries across four continents, is filled with players owning a great deal of international basketball experience.

Cadee, a 2009 Boomers squad member, also played for the Australia under-19 men’s team which competed at the 2009 FIBA under-19 World Championship in Auckland, eventually finishing fourth.

The 18-year-old guard is in his second year with the AIS men’s basketball program.
