Jan Stirling announces 2008 Beijing Games squad

Basketball Australia is pleased to announce its 25 player Australian Defence Force Opals squad for the 2008 Beijing Games.

World Champion head coach Jan Stirling named the squad during the halftime break of today's Australian Defence Force Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) Grand Final at the Wollongong Entertainment Centre, where Adelaide defeated Sydney Uni 92-82.

Current World Champions, the ADF Opals claimed silver at both the Sydney (2000) and Athens (2004) Games.
