Netball - Competition

In 2008 the AIS Netball team will be competing in the inaugural New Idea Australian Netball League (ANL).

Previously the AIS played in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy (CBT) competition wearing the pink and black of the AIS Canberra Darters but from 2008 the team will be proudly representing the AIS wearing the well known colours of red, white and navy.

The series will be comprised of ten teams with each state being represented by one team, except for NSW who will have 2 teams entered, plus a team from the AIS.  The competition will be held over six rounds and will be played at various venues around Australia.

The AIS will be hosting Round 5 of the ANL with games being played in the Frank Stewart Training Hall which is situated at the northern end of the  Australian Institute of Sport, Leverrier Cres, Bruce, ACT. Access to the hall is on the western side of the building and entry is free. No ticket required.
