Australian 21/U tour of the Caribbean

08 Nov 2012

Australia’s preparations for the 2013 World Youth Netball Championships continues with a team named for 21/U international tour to the Caribbean departing 14th November.

The team of 14 will play one game against the Trinidad and Tobago senior national team and two games against their 21/U team followed by a three game series against the Jamaican 21/U team.

“This tour will be instrumental in our preparation for World Youth Cup in August next year,” Australian 21/U coach Carol Byers said.

“Playing national teams with a different style of netball and travelling to countries with a different culture is all part of the learning curve to develop both our team for the 2013 World Youth Netball Championships and to prepare players for their future netball career.
