| Research Interests: | Research interests include movement coordination, skill learning, coaching, decision-making, variability, and dynamical systems theory. I collaborate with a range of sports scientists in the areas of motor learning and control, biomechanics and psychology and our research is published in several international peer-reviewed journals. A common theme of this work is the application of movement science to sport within an Ecological framework. A summary of much of this work can be found in the textbook, ‘Coordination and Control of Movement in Sport: An Ecological Approach’, by Davids, Button and Bennett (2007). |
