Work experience

Unfortunately there are no positions currently available for work experience or postgraduate students within AIS Psychology.

The opportunity for senior sport psychology students to participate in work placement programs within the AIS Psychology Service are considered on a case by case basis and must correspond with the department research framework. To be eligible for a placement within the department, students must meet the following criteria

  • Have completed or near completion of a Masters degree in Sport, Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • Attend an interview with staff
  • Provide examples of scientific writing
  • Prepare a potential research proposal
  • Provide necessary funding for research project
  • Provide information on your particular areas of interest and previous research and experience

All work experience placements are of a voluntary nature. Students are expected to fund and arrange their own travel and accommodation requirements while working in the Psychology Department at the AIS.
