The Sports Medicine department provides a high quality service in Sports Medicine to AIS scholarship holders, national team members and visiting athletes.

The area services a varied and wide range of sports including the AIS residential sports in Canberra and a wide variety of national and visiting Australian teams.

Previous research projects involved collaborative projects with the Departments of Physiology and Nutrition and projects specific to Sports Medicine.
