Stay at the AIS
You may be visiting the AIS for a tour, event or sport camp.
With accommodation up to 400 guests, the ASC Residences is the perfect accommodation venue for any sporting group and ideal as a Corporate team building, boot camp setting.
The ASC Residence consists of blocks that are four stories high each with 12 rooms and one flat ( sleeping from 2-4 guests), set among landscaped gardens at the AIS Canberra Campus. There are 300 rooms in 22 blocks each with shared communal living rooms and bathroom facilities.
All bedrooms have king single beds, refrigerator, sink, desk and internet facilities.
Guests wishing to stay at ASC Residences need to be attending a conference, short term business or on site sporting events. School groups coming to Canberra for a camp and conducting a tour of our facilities
Are also able to stay and experience the life of any athlete.
Among the many outstanding services and facilities of the athletes' residence are:
- single rooms, double rooms and self-contained units
- common rooms with lounges and pay television, a recreation room and equipment
- guest laundry
- wheelchair access
- free parking
- 24-hour security.
While staying at the AIS, you can also purchase AIS-branded apparel, toys, souvenirs, accessories and more from the AIS Shop.
People staying in the residences are expected to comply with the general rules of the AIS Halls of Residence.
Access
Reception at the Residence is open 7.30am – 10.00pm on weekdays, and 9.00am – 10.00pm on weekends and public holidays.
What to bring
We provide fresh linen and a towel, and all rooms are serviced on a weekly basis. We recommend you bring additional towels for pool or gym sessions. We also recommend that you bring:
- toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, soap and toothpaste (these are not included in rooms)
- sunscreen
- camera
- personal disc/walk man with earphones
- autograph book.
