Q. When is payment required and how can I pay?

A. Payment in full is required at the time of registration. Payments can be made by credit card, EFTPOS or cash. Payments can be made via phone when using your credit card.
Current fees are available from the Fees Section of our website.

Q. Are payments refundable?

A. Only medical withdrawals will be considered for refunds. Payments will only be refunded upon receipt of a doctor’s certificate for lessons that have not yet occurred. Credits are available for a $20 administration fee for non-medical withdrawals.

Q. Do I have to wear a swimming cap whilst in the pool?

A. The AIS requires all pool users to wear a swimming cap. Swimming caps are available for purchase from the Aquatic Centre reception.

Q. Can I swim in the pool while my child is in swimming lessons?

A. Yes. Before swimming you are required to check the public swimming times to ensure lanes are available and pay a casual admission fee at reception.

Q. What happens when the pool closes for events?

A. From time-to-time, events and sport camps are held at the AIS which require the use of the pool. At times this can occur at short notice. Missed lessons will be credited to your account if any closure affects you.

Q. How can I pay for membership?

A. Current fees are available from the Fees Section of our website. Payments can be made by cheque, credit card, EFTPOS or cash at the AIS Aquatic Centre reception. Payments (for the purpose of renewing an existing membership) can be made with credit card over the phone. Non-financial members will not be permitted to use facilities.

Q. Are payments refundable?

A. No, all payments are non-refundable.

Q. Are there any joining fees or contracts?

A. No, there are no joining fees or contracts. You may discontinue your membership at any time. However, any fees already paid are non-refundable.

Q. Does my Fitness Centre membership include access to the pool?

A. No. However, you are able pay a casual admission fee if you would like to go for a swim. Before swimming you are required to check the public swimming times and pay the casual admission fee to reception.

Q. Where are group fitness classes held?

A. Group fitness classes are held in a number of locations across the AIS. Members will be advised where their group fitness class is located when they present their membership card to reception prior to admission.
