Q. How do I obtain a copy of a report?
A. In some instances you will be able to download the report from the ASC Social Research site. Others may be obtained by contacting the National Sport Information Centre.

Q. Is there a cost in obtaining a copy of a report?
A.
Those reports that are ‘downloadable’ on the ASC Social Research site are free of charge. Other reports can be obtained from the National Sport Information Centre, for a fee, or they can direct you to other relevant literature.

Q. How do I put forward research to be reviewed under the value of sport monitor?
A.
Contact Manager Research and Corporate Planning by research@ausport.gov.au.

Q. How does the ASC make decisions about the research it undertakes?
A.
The ASC is guided by:

  • advice and direction from its Social Research Panel, which comprises of leading researchers and academics in the fields of study and disciplines of interest to the Commission
  • the objectives and priorities which are outlined in the ‘Backing Australia’s Sporting Ability’ policy document
  • key performance indicators in the ASC’s Operation Report
  • the ASC’s Research Strategic Intent.
