Introduction
There are a number of ways to locate profiles of Australian athletes on the web:
- Search the Sport Directory for the national sporting organisation site of the relevant sport. You will find also links to these on our sports played in Australia page.
- Australian Institute of Sport athlete profiles can be found under their sport.
- Use a search engine such as Google , Alta Vista (GoEureka), Yahoo, ANZwers to locate information. A sample search on Alta Vista for Petria Thomas might be : [+"petria thomas" +swimming] - this will bring up a range of sites with a profile or bio information.
- Profiles of current and past athletes may also be found at sports agents or sports fans sites.
