Introduction

There are a number of ways to locate profiles of Australian athletes on the web:

  • Search the Australian Sports Directory for the National Sporting Organisation site of the relevant sport. 
  • Australian Institute of Sport athlete profiles can be found under their sport.
  • Use a search engine such as Google to locate information - this will bring up a range of sites with a profile or biographical information.
  • Wikipedia provides many articles about individual athletes, some of which are written by the athletes themselves.
  • Profiles of current and past athletes may also be found at sports agents or sports fans sites.
