Coaching
Introduction
In Australia, accreditation as a coach for a specific sport has to be pursued through the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme administered by the Coaching & Officiating Unit of the Australian Sports Commission. Questions regarding coaching in specific sports should be directed to relevant national sporting organisations.
Several Australian universities and TAFE's also have sports coaching courses. You can find further details of courses and careers on the careers topics page.
