Catalogue and databases

The National Sport Information Centre (NSIC) provides online access to the following databases for locating information on sport.

  • NSIC Catalogue lists books, reports, videos/dvds, and Australian articles on sport. There are approximately 75,000 records listed in the catalogue. Also it lists research and other articles published by Australian Institute of Sport sport science staff. 
  • SportScan Article Database - lists over 20,000 articles on all areas of sport for the period 1980-2010. Database ceased in 2010.
  • Online Databases available - SPORTDiscus Fulltext, Medline Fulltext, Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, Australian and New Zealand Reference Library (newspaper articles)
