Clearinghouse for Sport

The Clearinghouse for Sport (Clearinghouse), has been established to facilitate the exchange of information and knowledge across the sport sector and all levels of Australian governments. The Clearinghouse will operate in the context of a number of relevant sport research fields, practitioner disciplines, and priority policy areas. The Clearinghouse will seek to achieve the following:

  • Collect and disseminate audience-appropriate information of relevance to the Australian sport sector;
  • Provide Australian governments with comprehensive and policy relevant, analysis and synthesis of information and research relating to sport, and the value of sport to the Australian community;
  • Inform sport practitioners (such as athletes, coaches, physical educators, scientists, researchers, administrators, volunteers, officials, etc.) about good practice and promising practice;
  • Provide the Australian community with high quality information on sport, physical activity, and active recreation
