Ausport Image Library

The National Sport Information Centre (NSIC) maintains a comprehensive sports image library. The collection dates back to the inception of the Australian Institute of Sport in 1981, and is an excellent historical image reference of the Australian Government's role in sport.

The Ausport Image Library is now available online with more than 50,000 images and regular updates, the image library is a great resource for publishers, researchers, national sporting organisations and the general public.

The collection includes:

  • Australian Institute of Sport athletes in action
  • Australian Sports Commission programs and facilities
  • Participation and recreational sporting images
  • Australian Sports Commission corporate history
