Guidelines for summiting reports/documents for the SCORS Research site

In submitting a report/document to the SCORS Research web site it is important that the final report/document is sent in the format highlighted below. This will ensure it can be uploaded as quickly as possible to the website and enable the end user to navigate through the report without difficulty.

Provision of the report/document:

  • The report/document needs to be provided in full in Word or PDF format
  • To ensure ownership of the report is identified make certain headers and footers (detailing title of document, date of publication, creating organisation, branding and contacts) are on every page.

In addition to providing the document, the following information is also required:

  • Title of report
  • Date published
  • Report/document size (i.e. 1.45 Mb)
  • Number of pages
  • Published by
  • Contact details
  • Available format
  • Indicate where you would desire bookmarks to be placed. (A bookmark is an item or location in a document that you identify and name for future reference. You can use bookmarks to quickly jump to a specific location, create cross-references, mark page ranges for index entries, and so on)
  • A short summary detailing the salient points or a general overview of the report /document
  • Any restrictions on use, disclaimers, advice, contextual notes, limitations, specific copyright, extract and referencing restrictions and/or credits and acknowledgments.

Thanks in advance for maintaining these standard practices.
