Australian Sports Foundation, another fundraising option
The Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) can assist non-profit incorporated clubs around Australia to raise money for valid sport related projects. The ASF is able to offer tax deductibility for donations of $2 or over made to the ASF in support of a registered project. This can be another avenue to raise money for a project in your club.
Examples of valid projects able to be registered with the ASF include building new club rooms, upgrading oval lighting, buying sporting equipment, funding team travel, funding scholarships or hosting a major sporting event. Please contact the ASF on 02 6214 7868 for further details.
The ASF website is www.asf.org.au for further information.
Club Development Resource Library
The expectation on sporting clubs to conduct themselves professionally and meet demanding regulations and compliance is forever increasing.
The Club Development Network team is always encouraging members to visit and access the network’s resource library to assist with their club administration. The library holds almost 500 different club resources available to assist clubs to manage their organisations. Resources range from planning guides to fundraising ideas, and even down to food-handling procedures. The library acts as a one-stop shop for clubs to access on a regular basis or when they need some assistance on an issue.
