In February over 700 primary school aged children from across metropolitan Melbourne converged on Punt Road Oval, Richmond Victoria to tango with some fierce tigers... Richmond Football Club Tigers that is.

5 Star Community Coach Announced

The Active After-school Communities 5 Star Community Coach Award has announced the national winner - Alison Parker from South Australia.

 

 

 

The Active After-school Communities program is a national initiative that provides primary school-aged children with access to free, structured physical activity programs in the after-school timeslot of 3.00pm to 5.30pm.

The program aims to engage traditionally non-active children in structured physical activities and to build pathways with local community organisations, including sporting clubs.
