The Australian Sports Commission’s (ASC) National Talent Identification and Development (NTID) program has now made testing for talented sports people even easier for clubs and schools.

NTID has launched a new component to eTID (their online talent identification tool) – A group booking function that allows teachers or coaches to make bookings at Talent Assessment Centres (TACs) for their whole class or team in one easy transaction.

Morag Croser, NTID Senior Manager, managed the development of eTID and looks forward to seeing the results of this new function.
‘The new group booking function makes it significantly easier for schools and sporting clubs to arrange group testing sessions,’ Croser said.

‘We hope that by making the process easier for coaches and teachers we will be able to reach a wider group of people and more effectively tap into Australia’s talent pool.’

eTID is a ground breaking initiative of the ASC’s and was launched in July 2008. To date the eTID site has attracted more than 50 000 visits and has resulted in over 1000 people submitting their results online.

Applicants can visit one of the 26 TACs around Australia to get their online results verified.
