AIS men’s basketball coach Marty Clarke and Brock Motum were amongst the SEABL award winners for the month of June.

Clarke took out the Coach of the Month award following a 3-2 record, which saw his team maintain fourth place on the SEABL ladder, while Motum made the team of the month.

Clarke started June with a disappointing home loss to Southern Districts but was able to pick his team up for a crucial 2-1 road trip with victories over Mt Gambier and Nunawading.
 
One of the leading lights for the Institute during June was the form of Motum.

The 18-year-old averaged 17.5 points at 58% and 6.8 rebounds to once again demonstrate why he is so highly regarded.
