Australian Stingers in quarterfinal of world championships

The Australian Stingers women’s water polo team defeated New Zealand 14–4 on 23 July at the Foro Italico sports centre in Rome.

The Stingers’s victory over New Zealand places Australia in the top position in group C of the FINA World Championships, with two wins and one draw.

Australia goes on to play Greece in the quarterfinals today.
