Australian Institute of Sport wins ACT Fitness Centre of the Year

Swim and Fitness at the Australian Institute of Sport* (AIS) has been awarded 2010 ACT Fitness Centre of the Year.

As the leading fitness centre with less than 2000 members in the ACT, Swim and Fitness at the AIS is now in the running for 2010 National Fitness Centre of the Year.

The award recognises quality service, innovation, community connection and commitment to industry standards.

Fitness Centre Manager Lee Culnane said the award is a testament to the quality of our trainers.

‘We try to be innovative and find new ways to get optimal results for our members, for example with our sport vacation programs and recovery programs, which provide unique access to AIS staff and facilities.’

The national award will be announced at the Australian Health and Fitness Industry Awards Night held in Melbourne on Friday 22 October.
