Australian Senior and U23 canoe teams announced

Australian Canoeing President Danielle Woodward has announced the senior team and Under 23 teams each comprising 10 athletes.

The teams were announced following weekend racing in Bradys Tasmania.

Jessica Fox (AIS/NSWIS) won both K1 and C1 events ahead of Sarah Grant (AIS/VIS) and Rosalyn Lawrence (AIS/NSWIS) respectively to head the selection rankings in each class.
Fox, Grant and Ros Lawrence will make up the Women's kayak team with Leanne Guinea (AIS/VIS) joining Fox and Lawrence in the canoe event.

Robin Jeffery (AIS/WAIS) came out top in the C1 and followed up with a win in the C2 event with Kynan Maley (AIS/WAIS).
 
Ian Borrows (AIS/NSWIS) earned the third spot on the team with consistent racing on the Brady's course and a second placing.

Will Forsythe (AIS/NSWIS) bounced back from second place to take his third win of the four race series in the men's kayak event. He will be joined on the team by Lucien Delfour and Warwick Draper (AIS/VIS) who made a late charge to finish second.
