The Indonesian Minister for Youth and Sport, His Excellency Dr Andi Mallarangeng, visited the Australia Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra today, meeting with key Australian Sports Commission personnel to gain an insight into the Australian sports system, specifically its sport development pathways and elite level programs.

During his visit, His Excellency also had the opportunity to take an exclusive tour of AIS Physiology and Biomechanics as well as the new AIS Aquatic Testing Centre and Recovery Centre.

His Excellency was very impressed not only by the world-class training facilities and services of the AIS, but also the coaching and sports science expertise.
