Registrations to open for Our Sporting Future conference
Registrations for Our Sporting Future (OSF) 2010 will be opening soon. The forum will be held from 28–30 July at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. Leading international and Australian speakers will discuss trends and emerging issues in the sporting industry. The forum will stimulate new ideas, challenge your thinking and provide you with practical information that you can apply to your organisation.
OSF 2010 will provide an in-depth analysis of the business of sport with real examples of successful sports business models. Participants will have the opportunity to examine the sustainability of sport and how sport can meet the many challenges it faces now and into the future.
Participants will be presented with relevant information, ideas and strategies on building a better national sports system. The program will explore new thinking, risk taking and innovation in the development of sports policy to effect change.
The forum will feature keynote speakers Steve Grainger, Chief Executive of Youth Sport Trust in the United Kingdom; Bernard Petiot, Vice-president Casting and Performance for Cirque du Soleil; and Peter Holmes à Court, one of Australia’s most respected entrepreneurs and businessmen.
Other keynote speakers include Avril Henry, who is regarded as one of Australia’s leading thinkers and speakers on generational diversity and leadership, and Li Cunxin, whose bestselling autobiography, Mao’s Last Dancer, tells the remarkable story of his life.
