The Minister for Sport, Kate Ellis, today thanked outgoing Australian Sports Commission Chair Greg Hartung for his contribution to Australian sport.

Minister Ellis said that Mr Hartung has led the Australian Government’s peak sporting agency since 2008 and has done an excellent job amid a changing sporting landscape.

Mr Hartung will conclude his appointment to the ASC Board on Sunday April 4 in the culmination of more than 25 years of service to the ASC.

The Minister also announced the appointment of ASC Board member David Gallop as the Acting Chair with Alisa Camplin to continue as Deputy Chair.
