The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) has received a vast number of high quality applications since the 2011-12 Multicultural Youth Sports Partnership (MYSP) program opened on Friday 29 April 2011.

The ASC previously stated successful applications for the MYSP program would be announced and allocated in July 2011.

However, with more than 370 applications submitted, the date for announcement and subsequent allocation of MYSP program grants has been adjusted to late July 2011.

This extended assessment period will allow for all applications to be properly assessed against predetermined assessment criteria.

Applications for the program have now closed.

All applicants will receive a letter from the Australian Sports Commission to notify them whether they have been successful in receiving a grant under the MYSP program.

There will be an opportunity to receive feedback and have any questions about the application process answered once the process is complete.
