Michael Johnson to appear at OSF2013
31 Jan 2013
Four-time Olympic track and field gold medallist Michael Johnson will exclusively appear at Our Sporting Future 2013 forum (OSF2013).
Johnson became known as the ‘fastest man in the world’, when he historically won gold in the 200 and 400 metre events at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.
The nine-time World Champion and former world record holder in the 200 metres, 400 metres and 4x400 metre relay, will aim to shed light on his personal experiences as an elite athlete.
Since retiring in 2001, Johnson opened Michael Johnson Performance, a training facility and business whose mission is to help athletes of all ages and all sports reach their full potential.
During OSF2013, Johnson will discuss his involvement in the program and his passion for helping aspiring athletes.
His international perspective will motivate and educate on the reach, opportunities and power that sport can give to individuals, societies and countries.
