Registration renewal

A Letter of Intent and a Registration Renewal Application Form will be sent to community coaches prior to their registration expiring to determine if they would like to renew their registration for another two years and continue as a community coach in the Active After-school Communities (AASC) program.

The complete list of requirements for registration renewal includes:

a.   AASC Community Coach Development course; or
b.   An on-the-job appraisal by an AASC regional coordinator; or
c.   Delivery of at least eight hours of structured physical activities incorporating the Playing For Life Philosophy to primary school aged children

Once community coaches have met all requirements for registration renewal a confirmation letter will be sent to them.

If a community coach does not renew their registration they will be ineligible to continue providing services in the AASC program. If they wish to return to the program at a later stage they should contact the relevant zone administrator who will put them in touch with the appropriate regional coordinator to discuss re-entry requirements.
