Program design

Community coaches work with schools and Out of School Care Services (sites) participating in the Active After-school Communities (AASC) program to ensure that:

  • Quality programs are implemented to attract children
  • Opportunities are created to grow participation in junior sport; and
  • Proposed programs complement existing site programs whilst adhering to AASC requirements.

Playing for Life resources are useful when planning and delivering AASC programs. Additional resources can also be accessed from other sections of the Australian Sports Commission website.
