The Active After-school Communities program (AASC) is about active, fun, enthusiastic participation with energetic movement.

Alice Active

Alice likes to play basketball and badminton, enjoys going to the movies with her friends, and participates in surf lifesaving. She hopes to one day be a life saver.

Franz Lawn Bowls by Kathryn Wright Design

Franz Fun

Franz goes to little athletics on Saturdays with his brother and also plays lawn bowls with his family on Sundays. During the week at school he plays rugby league at lunchtimes with his friends.

Emily Enthusiastic

Emily enjoys swimming and can often be found at the local pool every day during the school holidays. Emily also likes talking on the phone and goes to dance classes on Friday afternoons.

Maya

Maya Movement

Maya enjoys basketball, reading and watching her sister compete at surf club. She also competes at Little Athletics events on Friday afternoons and plays Frisbee in the park with her Mum on the weekends.

Pablo Participation

Pablo enjoys playing frisbee at lunch, on the weekends and has joined the local Ultimate Frisbee club. Pablo also enjoys marbles at lunchtime and going to the cricket with his dad.

Eric Energetic

Eric enjoys many sports including basketball, softball and rugby. When he’s not playing sport, he enjoys watching Olympic silver medallists the Australian Men’s Wheelchair Basketball Team (Rollers) in action, and hanging out with friends.
