Active After-school Communities program club award winners announced

The Australian Sports Commission has great pleasure in announcing the winners of the 2010 Active After-school Communities (AASC) Clubs Competition.

Entries from across the country were assessed for their ability to demonstrate how their club has benefitted from working with the AASC program and how they achieved this. The standard of entries was so high, that in some states multiple winners have been announced.

The winning clubs across the states and territories were:

  • Bridport Bowls Club (TAS)
  • Latrobe and Districts Softball Association (TAS)
  • Cycas Circus (QLD)
  • Yorke Peninsula Taekwondo Centre (SA)
  • Blue Lake BMX Club (SA)
  • Nunawading Triathlon Club (VIC)
  • Kinglake Ranges Tennis Club (VIC)
  • Forest Rangers Soccer Club (VIC)
  • Hills Warriors Netball Club (WA)
  • Rooty Hill RSL Hockey Club (NSW)
  • Milton Ulladulla District Tennis Assoc Inc. (NSW)
  • Gungahlin Eagles Rugby Club (ACT)
  • Lees Taekwondo (ACT)

Winners receive a $500 HART Sport voucher to spend on sporting equipment to further their clubs delivery of the AASC program. AASC regional coordinators will be contacting the successful clubs shortly to present the winning vouchers.
