The Brunswick Hockey Club has joined forces with the Australian Government’s Active After School Communities (AASC) program, to encourage kids to join a local sporting club.

As part of the AASC program, children from across four schools including East Brunswick, Merri Creek, North Fitzroy and Princess Hill Primary, took part in weekly hockey sessions during Term 4, 2011.

The program culminated with a total of 100 children, travelling to the State Hockey Centre for a Gala Carnival Day incorporating fun games and activities.
