Rewarding AASC community coaches for research involvement

The five winners received a $100 HART Sport voucher.
29 Feb 2012

As part of the 2011 independent research of the AASC, all community coaches involved in the delivery of the program throughout 2010 and 2011 were invited to participate in an online survey.  The survey was conducted at the end of 2011 and over 1,800 community coaches responded to the invitation.

The survey focused on reviewing and better understanding the experiences of AASC coaches in their delivery of the program.  It is extremely valuable as the feedback from the survey helps the program understand the changing needs and experiences of those involved and adapt the program to better meet these needs.

As part of this process, a prize was offered to the five coaches who provided the best suggestions for program improvement. The prize was a $100 HART Sport voucher.

The AASC program would like to recognise the following community coaches who provided valuable and well thought-out suggestions for program improvement.
- James Herron (SA)
- Karen Hart (VIC)
- Kerry Gow (WA)
- Doug Parker (NSW)
- Virginia McGuiness (WA)
