Softball

Softball Australia, in partnership with the Australian Sports Commission, has developed a national junior program for children 4 to 12 years of age. The Softball Batter Up program is offered at four different levels and introduces participants to the fundamental skills of softball through safe, fun and engaging activities.

Softball Australia is offering AASC program probationary and registered community coaches the opportunity to sign up as a Softball Batter Up provider. Providers receive a range of resources and tools which can be used to enhance the delivery of AASC softball programs.

One of the key features of the Softball Batter Up program is the 32 Lesson Plans which can be easily accessed when you register as an Softball Batte Up provider. The program is flexible in its delivery and provides over 100 different activities that can be introduced into the program.

Community coaches should type ‘AASC’ before their name when registering as a provider with the Softball Batter Up program.

AASC program schools, Outside School Hours Care Services and community coaches can also refer to the Softball Companion Book to support the delivery of AASC softball programs.
