Netball

Companion_book_-_NetballNetball Australia partnered with the Australian Sports Commission to develop a Netball Companion Book that can be used by community coaches in the Active After-school Communities (AASC) program. This book should be used in conjunction with the Playing for Life Resource Kit.

The activities in the eight week program have been designed in line with the Playing for Life philosophy. This places an emphasis on providing safe, fun, engaging activities that ensure maximum participation from all children regardless of their level of ability.

NetSetGO! is a great pathway for children interested in continuing their netball experience after participating in the AASC program. NetSetGO! provides participants with the opportunity to develop netball skills and an understanding of the game by incorporating skill activities, minor games and modified matches in a fun and safe environment.

Teachers can also sign up to the NetSetGo! Schools Ambassador Program, which has been designed to ensure that netball has a continuous presence at schools. The program offers some exciting benefits to registered ambassadors and it’s free.
