Comapnion_book_-_softballSoftball Australia, partnered with the Australian Sports Commission to develop a Softball Companion Book that can be used by community coaches in the Active After-school Communities (AASC) program. This book should be used in conjunction with the Playing for Life Resource Kit.

The activities in the eight week program have been designed in line with the Playing for Life philosophy. This places an emphasis on providing safe, fun, engaging activities that ensure maximum participation from all children regardless of their level of ability.

Softball Batter Up is a great pathway for children interested in continuing their softball experience after participating in the AASC program. Softball Batter Up is a national junior program for children 4 to 12 years of age. The program is offered at four different levels and introduces participants to the fundamental skills of softball through safe, fun and engaging activities.
